The Apprentice Trump and Martha stewart is going soon
New season of the apprentice Trump premieres Sep. 22
and the new Martha Apprentice Premieres Sep. 21

Daughter to Advise Stewart on 'Apprentice'
Martha Stewart's daughter, Alexis, will be one of her advisers on "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart," which premieres next month on NBC. Alexis Stewart and Charles Koppelman, chairman of the board of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, will be Stewart's "eyes and ears" during each week's task. They will join her in the conference room when one candidate is sent home, NBC announced Monday.

Trump Will Cameo on Stewart's 'Apprentice'

Stewart and Mark Burnett are stressing that her version of "The Apprentice" will have a different look and tone from Donald Trump's show. But they aren't distancing themselves entirely from the original, either.
In fact, Stewart says Trump will put in an appearance on her show, which debuts Wednesday, Sept. 21 on NBC -- a day before the fourth Trump-led "Apprentice" begins.

''Donald will be on the show in a cameo where he takes a tour of the loft where the candidates are housed,'' Stewart told reporters Thursday at a news conference. ''It's quite different'' from the Trump Tower suite where contestants in the original show live, she adds.

Those differences, Burnett says, will extend to the rest of the show as well, beginning with the theme song. Where Trump's ''Apprentice'' has ''For the Love of Money'' by the O'Jays, Stewart's show will open with ''Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)'' by the Eurythmics. (Stewart, by the way, says she ''loves'' Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox.)

''My job is to analyze the subject matter … and create a look and a feel that reflects the business,'' Burnett says. Whereas Trump is in the ''rough-and-tumble'' business of real estate, Stewart's lifestyle-oriented company is more ''artistic,'' he says.

That will mean a ''lighter'' look to the show, Stewart says. And though she and Burnett aren't saying what her dismissal catchphrase will be — or even if there is one — she definitely won't be telling people they're fired.''I don't think I've ever told anyone they're fired,'' she says.

Trump called both men "lousy." In an attempt to defend himself, Bren admitted that he was still learning to take risks. Alex saw his opening and took it. Alex proudly said that he had taken risks all of his life because he had the passion and desire to be the best. Trump turned to a silent Bren and told him that Alex was "killing him." Trump said he wanted someone with an entrepreneurial spirit - something that Bren didn't seem to have. Trump believed that Bren would be a big success someday, but for now, Trump said, "Bren, you're fired."

Apprentice 3 Candidate Breaks Down into Tears
For the first time in "The Apprentice" history, a candidate breaks down and sobs in the boardroom after an emotional exchange which leads to this week's firing on NBC, April 14, 9-10 p.m. ET/PT. After the firing, Donald Trump feels so bad that he invites the firee to join him on the other side of the boardroom table and a sincere, tear-filled moment ensues.

On this week's task candidates create a promotional brochure for Pontiac's new Solstice Roadster. Armed with top-notch photographers, graphic artists and models, each team must design and print the brochures before presenting their finished product to Pontiac executives. During the task delivery Trump also announces that the winner of this season's "Apprentice" will receive their very own Solstice.

An unlikely hero emerges during the task and blows away the competition with their creativity and dedication. Both teams attempt to pull all-nighters to complete the task but one project manager is left alone by their sleepy colleagues.

An amusing team-building reward at Madison Square Garden features Trump shooting foul shots with the winning team along side Isaiah Thomas and some of The New York Knicks.

Trump Crops "Apprentice" Apr 13, 2005, 3:10 PM PT
Donald Trump is cutting back.

After coming to the realization that last season's
three-hour-long Apprentice finale perhaps bordered on overkill, this time around, the Donald plans to wrap up the business of selecting a new underling in a measly one-hour finale on May 19.

"At my insistence, I wanted it to be a one-hour finale," Trump said at a press conference Tuesday. "We ended up with a reunion and all of this nonsense. Nobody wants that. What they want is a finale where somebody gets fired."

During the press conference, Trump also expressed his condolences for Apprentice contestant Chris Shelton, who was
arrested last weekend for disorderly conduct, saying he felt "very badly" for Shelton.

"He's got a problem," said Trump. "He's got an anger-management problem. We talked about it on the show. He truly is an angry guy."
Trump said that Thursday's episode will coincidentally feature more of Shelton's short-fused nature.

"By circumstance, it happens to involve Chris to a large extent," said Trump. "He has a very interesting time on the show."

Meanwhile, Trump has been pleased enough with the work done by the original Apprentice
winner, Bill Rancic, that he has renewed his contract for another year.
"He's done everything I've asked him to do," Trump said.
Rancic will continue to work in sales and marketing at the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. He'll also occasionally fill in for George and Carolyn in the boardroom during the fourth season of The Apprentice.

NBC The Apprentice News
Apprentice’ contestant Chris arrested

Real estate millionaire Chris Shelton, a contestant on NBC’s “The Apprentice,” was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.

Shelton, 22, one of six remaining contestants competing for a job with Donald Trump, was taken into custody early Sunday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He was released after posting $250 bail.

A tribal police officer said he heard a noisy Shelton in the hotel lobby and asked him twice to calm down before arresting him, said Seminole police spokesman Gary Bitner

“He was loud and he just wouldn’t calm down,” Bitner said.

Shelton was peeved over a $20 cover charge for the hotel bar. Shelton “was at the lobby causing a scene,” the police report said. “There were several patrons in the area who were visibly shaken by his actions. After several attempts to calm Shelton, he continued to yell and curse, refusing to calm down and stop causing a scene.”

Shelton and some friends were staying at the hotel and celebrating his continued success on “The Apprentice,” Bitner said.

“We don’t really have any comment,” NBC spokesman Jim Dowd said. “This is clearly a private matter with Chris.” All but the final episode has been taped, and it isn’t known if Shelton makes it that far.
